You will critically evaluate the leadership styles and behaviours that achieve genuine organisational commitment to strategic improvement not just compliance, but real cultural change.

The module explores how senior procurement leaders engage and influence stakeholders at board level, how to lead organisational transformation through periods of significant change, and how to resolve conflict and manage resistance at a senior level. It also examines the ethical standards, professional conduct requirements, and regulatory landscape that shape the responsibilities of procurement leaders. For senior procurement professionals seeking MCIPS in the UAE and GCC, L6M1 is the module that most directly prepares you to lead at the executive level combining strategic leadership theory with the ethical and governance responsibilities that define professional excellence in procurement at its highest level.

You will examine the major strategic frameworks used to analyse global markets and competitive environments, develop your ability to assess strategic options and evaluate their commercial implications, and understand how procurement strategy connects to and supports the broader commercial objectives of the organisation.
