Your own academy, designed and stood up.

For institutions large enough that buying training course by course has stopped making sense, and that want the capability to live inside the organisation rather than on a supplier's schedule.

Two colleagues holding tablets talk as they walk outside a modern building, with others following behind.

01What an academy actually is

Not a training department with a better name.

A corporate academy has a mandate, a curriculum tied to career paths, a faculty of internal and external practitioners, a governance body that approves what enters the curriculum, and a measurement model that reports to the executive. Most organisations that say they have one have a training calendar and a learning platform.

We build the six components below and hand over the operating manual for each. Then we train the people who will run it.

02The six components

01Mandate and governanceWhat the academy is for, who it serves, who approves the curriculum and who is accountable for the outcome.
02Skills taxonomy and career pathwaysThe vocabulary the organisation uses for capability, and the visible route from one role to the next.
03Curriculum architectureCore, functional and leadership tracks, with accredited qualifications placed where external recognition matters.
04Faculty modelWhich subjects are taught by internal experts, which are bought, and how internal faculty are selected, trained and quality-assured.
05Platform and content operationsThe learning platform, the content library, the tagging against the taxonomy, and who maintains it.
06Measurement and reportingWhat the academy reports to the executive each quarter, and what it does when the numbers are poor.

03Onboarding academies

The smaller version, and often the better place to start.

A structured onboarding pathway for one critical role family delivers a visible result in months rather than years, and proves the model internally before anyone commits to a full academy. For entities recruiting national talent at volume, it is usually the single highest-return piece of learning work available.
